Occasionally DI is closed on a day we would normally be open or closes early for the day so it is recommended that you call ahead to make sure we are open. If the answering machine picks up the call during our normal business hours we are most likely closed for the day or doing appointments only (closed to the public).
Appointments are preferred and a deposit is required when scheduling for a tattoo. Deposit amount will be deducted from the total cost. If you cancel or reschedule the deposit may be non-refundable. We do not schedule appointments over the phone.
Walk ins are welcomed if an artist or piercer is available.
Shop min is $50 for tattoos. Most major debit/credit cards and cash are accepted.
Price quotes are given in person by an artist or occasionally through e-mail if not residing in the Athens, OH area. Depending on situation/design a consultation appointment may still be required.
Initial body piercing jewelry is internally threaded ASTM F -136 Titanium or ASTM F -138 Stainless Steel (Ohio Dept. of Health requirement). Please call or stop in for piercing prices.
ID is required for any Body Art procedure.
Gift Certificates are available (no min. amount is required to purchase one).
DI is a fairly small shop so when you come in for your appointment it is recommended that you only bring one or two support friends | family | observers.
Scheduling: A consultation appointment may be needed before an appointment is made for a procedure. If proper ID or documents are not provided, service may be declined or appointment rescheduled. We do not accept copies of legal documents. You must have the original.
ID requirements: The custodial parent or legal guardian must be present and have a government/state issued photo ID. The minor must have a current photo ID ( drivers license/permit/state ID/passport/military ID/ or a birth certificate accompanied by a current picture ( school ID, yearbook photo, campus school profile copy, etc. ). Last name and address on ID of parent or guardian must be the same as the minor’s ID, or have legal documentation as to why they are different (custody/adoption papers, marriage certificates, divorce papers, mail addressed to the minor, etc.) WE DO HAVE AGE LIMITS.
